Add Images and Page Effects

Images, along with video and sound clips, would normally be stored on your PC or network. In PerfectForms™, these files are known as Assets. To be able to use these on your forms, they have to be uploaded to the server.

 

Note: Before following the add image instructions, please ensure that you have a local image available to upload for use in the form.

1.Click Browser Browser Icon to load the Browser bar.
2.In the Assets section, click the New button New Button (Browser Area) .
3.Use the wizard to select the image to upload.
4.Repeat for as many assets that you want to use on the form.

 

 

Now you can drag and drop the image onto the layout area.

1.Click Toolbox Toolbox Button to load the Toolbox bar.
2.Drag a Picture object onto the form.
3.In Picture Properties, select the file in the Asset drop-down.
4.Re-size accordingly.
5.Repeat these steps for additional images that you want to display on the form.

 

 

A border can give a nice finishing touch to a page. To add a border:

1.Load Form Properties in the Properties bar (click in the layout area background or use the navigation arrows on the Properties bar).
2.In the Style section, choose Show a frame.
3.Select a suitable color.
4.Select round or square corners for the frame.

 

 

You can apply a page turning effect so that when users navigate through the pages on the form, the pages transition like turning pages in a book. To apply this setting:

1.Select Book in the Page Turning effect drop-down of the Form Properties.

Note: The page turning effect can slow down the time it takes to navigate from page to page. Try it out; you can always switch it off later.

 

Now we will add a separator line to complete the page.

1.Drag a Horizontal Separator onto the form and expand it to the full width of the page.
