Name and Path Arrow Style properties are simply visual indicators but they are important to use on the diagram. They do not affect workflow intelligence but they can help other people understand the workflow logic and can often refresh your own memory. Try to use them even if the information seems obvious at first.
In our example, we will put a description of the path conditions in the Name property. These descriptions will help anyone reviewing the workflow in the future.

Every time an instance of the purchase order request form is created and submitted, it will always progress to the Manager Approval stage.
Note: We are only putting a visual cue on the diagram and not setting the actual conditions which we will do in the next section.
If the manager rejects the request then it will progress to the rejected stage regardless of the request value.
If the manager approves the request then it will either a) progress to the approved stage if the total request value is under $10,000, or; b) it will progress to the director approval stage if the request value is greater than that threshold.
If an instance reaches the director approval stage then it will either a) be approved by both directors and progress to the approved stage, or; b) it will be rejected and progress to the rejected stage.
