We have set a level of which will be seen on the manager’s Notifications Dashboard view, but we can also set up a reminder which can be sent if a request is not approved or rejected in a specified time.
There is no limit to the number of reminders you can set up. You can even escalate to a different person, position or group if the is still not dealt with after several reminders.

|
| 1. | On the same Notify command, click Add. |
| • | For Title, enter Reminder of request waiting. |
| • | For Attention Level, select High attention. |
| • | For Role, select Manager. |
| 3. | The Person tab may remain unchanged. |
| 5. | Select After a fixed period and select 1 working day. |
| 6. | The Cancellation tab may remain unchanged. |
| 7. | In the Message tab, use the same settings and text which was used in the previous notification message, but add in some text to show that it is a reminder. |
| 8. | Be sure to leave the Send by email option turned on. Because this is a reminder it is worth also sending the notification by e-mail. |
Note: If you are confident that your users will access the Notifications Dashboard to get their notifications then you can reserve e-mail notifications for important instances and reminders. If a user is bombarded with e-mail notifications there is always a chance that more important notifications can go unnoticed.
