Labeling an Object

A label is simply text or a graphic that identifies a form object. With a form loaded in the Form Designer:

1.Expand the Common Visuals section of the Toolbox and drag a Heading or Text object onto the page.
2.After dropping the object, position the cursor in the object and enter the label text.
3.To modify the appearance of the text object, expand the Style section on the Properties bar and edit the settings.

 

Use of html tags in a text (or heading) object can be quite useful if the designer wants to apply simple formats to sections of the text. If the HTML property is checked, then the contents of the text property are rendered as HTML. While only a limited subset of HTML tags are supported, the most commonly used tags for formatting purposes are supported and listed below.
