Adding a Picture or Graphic

Multimedia (picture, movie, or sound) files that you add to a form are form assets. For a complete list of Picture Properties and their uses, see the Picture Properties reference table.

 

To add a picture to your form, with a form loaded in the Form Designer:

1.Click the Browser button Browser Button.
2.Click the New New Button button in the heading of the Assets section. The Add Asset dialog is presented.
3.Click Browse and locate the picture file on your computer. After you select the image file, click Next.
4.Enter a new Name for the picture asset, if necessary.
5.Click Next and then Done. The picture is uploaded to the Assets section for use.

6.Drag the graphic from the Asset section to the page.

Note: If you are using the Toolbox and want to insert a graphic that you have already uploaded as an asset, drag a Picture object from the Common Visuals section. Then select the appropriate Asset Name from the drop-down list in the Properties bar.


7.Once you add the new picture to your form, you can change the picture properties in the Properties bar. A Submit Data behavior command is also available and can be added to Picture objects in order to make them act like Submit buttons. This expands your ability to customize the look and feel of your form.

Note: For photo files, uncheck the Stretch property to load the full-size image.
