Resetting a Password

To reset a user password, complete the steps below.

1.Go to the Settings Dashboard and expand the Account Settings > Users > Users tree nodes.
2.Navigate to the user and select that name to load their information into the details area.
3.Click the Send Password-Link button. The user will be sent an e-mail containing a link to a page that allows them to create a new password. If the link is not clicked within 24 hours it will expire and if a password change is needed another link will have to be sent.

Note: The e-mail notifications and Send Password links use the URL found in the Application Root URL field on the Settings page of the Administration Console. On-Premise system administrators can edit this root URL to meet their installation needs. For additional information, see the Setting the Application Root URL topic.
