Accessing the Data History of a Form Instance

Data history provides an audit trail that records a data snapshot at the point of each data submission. Data history can only be viewed by:

 

The form owner
Providing the form has been shared, anyone who has Data permissions as described in the Granting Form Permissions topics.

 

To view the data history of a form instance:

1.Locate the form instance within the Edit Forms tree. The instances can be found by expanding the desired form and then expanding the Open or Closed Instances nodes.

2.Once the instance has been selected, click the Data History button. The following information is shown:
Each individual field at the point of data submission. For tables, each row is shown as a discrete piece of data under the Field column.
The person who made the form submission
The date and time of the submission
The workflow stage at the time of submission

 

In the image below you will see two submissions made by the Team Leader as well as the HR/OD representative. Any actual data changes are highlighted in blue.
