In the event of a server crash or other data recovery scenario, you may need to restore the PerfectForms™ application on the server. It is a good idea to have a database backup management plan. We recommend that you discuss the backup plan with your database administrator.
The following procedures detail the steps to restoring PerfectForms™ on a server. These steps assume regular data backups and PerfectForms™ version 1.14 or later.
Note: If you are running a prior version of PerfectForms™, you will need to upgrade to 1.14 or later before attempting a restore.
If your SQL and IIS server are on the same machine and you need to reinstall the application:

Known Issue (v1.14): In some cases, an application restore can cause a suspension of the PerfectForms™ service broker, preventing form notifications from being sent. If you find that the service broker is not running after a reinstallation, run the PerfectForms™ Installer again and this time choose Repair. |
If the IIS server requires the restore:
