All Stages, All Roles

Previous  Home topic  Next  Print this topic Send Feedback

When a form runs, it first looks at the settings for All Stages and All Roles. If you choose a state for a form object on the Properties bar without specifying any particular stage/role combination on the Browser, the state will apply to all stages and all roles. These are effectively the default field states.

Be careful when selecting All Stages/All Roles because this means that numerous stage/role combinations are covered by this one setting.

Example

The combination of Stage = Manager Approval/Role = Manager is covered by all of the following settings:

Stage

=

All/Role

=

All

Stage

=

Manager Approval/Roll

=

All

Stage

=

All/Role

=

Manager

Stage

=

Manager Approval/Role

=

Manager
