Connecting to the Proxy Web Part

One of the last steps to complete when installing a new web part is to connect that web part to the Proxy web part. This ensures the web part's ability to communicate with PerfectForms™.

 

To configure a connection to the Proxy web part, complete the steps below.

1.While editing the shared view, click on the Edit menu for the PerfectForms™ web part (for this example we will look at the Notification Icon Web Part). Under Connections, select Get PerfectForms Data From.

2.Next select the relevant PerfectForms™ Proxy Web Part (usually there will only be one).
