The ability to view and interact with full versions of forms created in PerfectForms™ is not possible on all mobile devices. Limitations which prevent full form access include:
| • | The specific Adobe Flash plug-in, which is needed to render the full version of the form, is not supported by many mobile devices (such as iPhone and Blackberry). |
| • | For mobile devices that do support Flash (such as Android), users still have to deal with issues such as small screen size and limited bandwidth. For larger forms this can make interaction with the form unmanageable. |
Mobile approval forms are a scaled-down version of a larger form, rendered in pure HTML without the need for an Adobe Flash plug-in, and designed specifically for use through mobile devices. The HTML mobile approval form helps facilitate a more efficient on-the-go approval process by allowing for quick approval or rejection of a specific request (such as a time sheet approval or vacation request).
Mobile approval forms can be accessed using mobile devices that are HTML 4/5 and JavaScript 1.5 compatible. This includes:
| • | iPhone 3 and 4 |
| • | Android 2.1 and 2.2 |
| • | Blackberry 4.6 |
