Migrating Form or Report Ownership to Another User

You can migrate ownership of a shared form to another user. Only the current owner of the form/report can transfer ownership.

 


Note: The new owner will be allowed to completely delete the form or delete form instances and the previous owner will lose ownership of the form/report and all the privileges attached to this. The audit log will track any transfers of ownership including: the user who initiated the transfer, the date and time and the form or report name.


 

To transfer ownership:

1.Open the Edit Forms or Edit Reports view on the Dashboard.
2.In the tree, locate the form or report you want to transfer ownership of. If you are working with a form or report that has not been shared yet, first click the Share button. Only a shared form or report can have its ownership migrated.
3.Click the Migrate button. Once a form has been shared, the Migrate dialog contains a new option: Transfer Ownership.
4.Choose Transfer Ownership and then click OK.

5.Select the new owner of the form or report from the list and click OK.
