PerfectForms™ uses a player to run the forms. This player is the same for all forms and all reports. Once the player has been loaded for a single form, it is cached and all other forms and reports will run very quickly.
If you embed a form in a Web site and the people accessing that page have not viewed a PerfectForms™ form before, there will be a delay while the player loads. This can take between 5 and 30 seconds, depending on the speed of connection. For more information on embedding a form into a Web page, see the Embedding a Form into a Web Page topic.
For a more efficient user experience, you can pre-load the player in the background. This ensures that when the Web site visitor reaches the page with the form, it will already be loaded and ready for use.
To use the pre-load player function, copy and paste the pre-load code from the Link dialog into the <body> tags of your Home and other landing pages. If you have common include files that are used on all pages within your site, then you can consider putting the pre-load code there. If in doubt, your Web designer will know what to do.
