The Main section contains options for determining URL address and browser window options, as well as entering object summary detail.
URL
|
Text or Number
|
Selection of this radio button enables you to enter a static text or numeric value to represent the URL.
If the URL you want to show will not be dynamic (based on form input or other options), it is appropriate to enter the URL address here.

Value of a Field
|
Selection of this radio button enables you to select a field from your form from which the URL address can be pulled.
To select the desired field, click the Select button, then navigate to the field containing the URL. Once a selection has been made, the value will be shown in the read-only text box to the left of the Select button.

Special
|
Selection of this radio button lets you choose from a predefined list of form meta data that is universally available in forms to act as the URL. This includes special values such as Instance Name, Instance ID, URL, Current Date, etc.

Special Fields and Properties

Formula
|
Select this radio button then click Compose to provide a condition or formula as the URL. Formulas can use field values, dates, button states, URLs or other special values.

Browser Window
|
Pop-Up
|
Select this radio button to present a new, separate pop-up browser window when the Show URL command runs.
|
|
Same (This Will Close the Form)
|
Select this radio button to use the current window (effectively closing the form instance) when the Show URL command runs.

Normal Style
|
Select this radio button to have the pop-up window open at a standard new window size.
Note: This option is only available when the 'Pop-Up' radio button is selected.

|
Minimal Style
|
Select this radio button to have the pop-up window open in a custom-sized window. Options associated with this radio button include:
| • | Width - Enter the custom width for the pop-up window. |
| • | Height - Enter the custom height for the pop-up window. |
Note: This radio button and its associated options are only available when the 'Pop-Up' radio button is selected.

Summary
|
Auto-Summary
|
Auto-summary refers to the text that will be shown on the command in the Behaviors canvas. By default, this check box is selected.
For commands that use a condition or calculation, Auto-Summary will display the formula selected in the Condition Properties. If no condition exists, nothing will be displayed.
If you wish to have other summary text display, clear the Auto-summary check box and type the custom text in the list box below. Your text will be retained if you later decide to enable Auto-summary.

This is where manual summary text can be entered when the Auto-summary option is not turned on.
