The result of a calculation, which is the most common place where you need the Formula Editor, is written to a field in the steps below.

1. With a form loaded in the Form Designer, click the button on the Toolbar to enter the Behavior view. 2. Drag the Set Field behavior command from the Toolbox to the Behavior canvas. 3. Edit the properties on the right. On the Main section under Field, click Select. Choose the field where the result should be written. 4. In the Value section, select the Formula option. 5. Click Compose to load the Compose Formula dialog.
