There are three ways of creating child instances:
| • | Using a Button - If you will only have a single child instance for a form then use the Show Form button. |
| • | Using a Behavior Command - Behavior commands will be required less often, as their use is more cumbersome than using the pre-defined button objects. |
| • | Show Form Button in a Table Object - If you will have several child instances, then use a Table object. |
Each of these has options on the Properties bar that allow you to specify exactly what the relationship is between the current form instance and the other form instance that is about to be created. Note that the first two methods do not set up a parent-child relationship, they just create a new instance of the current form.
