The PerfectForms™ Dashboard pages can be divided into four main sections: Navigation Tabs, Dashboard Toolbar, Tree View and Details area.
Dashboard Navigation
Dashboards in PerfectForms™ allow you to view forms, view notifications, run reports, create connections and much more, depending on your account access privileges. Beyond the account settings options, Dashboards are not customizable. Select the tab for the Dashboard you wish to view.
Dashboard Toolbar
The Dashboard toolbar contains the New button, Import button and navigational buttons enabling you to move from page to page, undo actions, get access to context-specific help information and more. Options on the toolbar include:
| • | New - The New menu displays any applicable options for the selected view (such as New > Form and New > Folder). |
| • | Import - The Import option is available on the Forms, Reports and Connections views, enabling you to import existing forms reports or connections. |
| • | Navigational Buttons - The toolbar navigational buttons include the following: |
| o | Go back to dashboard - Enables you to go back to the main Dashboard area for the selected Dashboard tab. For example, if you have drilled-down to a specific form and are viewing the details for that form in the Forms Dashboard, choosing the Go back to dashboard button will take you back to the Edit Forms Dashboard. |
| o | Go back one page - Enables you to go back to the previous page you had visited in the Dashboard. |
| o | Go forward one page - If you have used the "Go back one page" button on the toolbar, then the "Go forward one page" button becomes enabled and allows you to go forward one page in the order of pages you've visited in the Dashboard. |
| o | Undo - Enables you to undo the previous action taken. |
| o | Redo - Enables you to reverse or "redo" the undo action just taken. |
| o | Refresh the selected item - Enables you to refresh the item currently in focus. This could be the Dashboard page or a selected node in the tree view. |
| o | Help - Selection of this button launches a new browser tab navigating you to context-sensitive help detail in the PerfectForms™ Help Guide. |
| o | Exit - Selection of this button will log you off of the PerfectForms™ application and return you to the PerfectForms™ Login page. |
Tree View
The Tree View displays the navigation tree associated with the selected Dashboard. Expand the nodes in the Dashboard trees to drill down to more specific detail for that Dashboard. Basic users may not have the Edit nodes in the trees.
Details Area
The Details area is where you will view and input the details of a form, report, notification, connection or settings. Examples of details displayed in this area include permissions, account settings and sharing status.
