Description

PerfectForms™ Portal URL

This is the URL of the PerfectForms™ portal web service. On-Demand customers should obtain this from your supplier; On-Premise customers will find portal.asmx in the API folder on their PerfectForms™ server (e.g. http://perfectforms.mydom.com/PerfectForms/api/portal.asmx).

PerfectForms™ Account Name

This is your company's account name on the PerfectForms™ server. On-Demand customers should obtain this from your supplier; On-Premise customers will probably have an account called Default (this can be determined through the PerfectForms™ administration interface).

Email Address

Leave this blank in Shared Settings.

Password

Leave this blank in Shared Settings.

OnClick URL

This is the URL of the page that the browser will display when the icon is clicked. This will normally be another SharePoint® page containing either the PerfectForms™ user interface web part or a Notification List Web Part, but can also link to the PerfectForms™ user interface directly if desired.

Image URL

If you want to use another image as your notification icon, enter its URL here. If this value is left blank, the default image will be displayed. Your image should have a transparent background, enabling the background color to be used to indicate status.

Color Background to Show Status

When checked, the background (and border) will be colored according to the highest attention level in the user's notification list. Uncheck this if you are going to use CSS to specify the display styles for each status.

Show Caption

When checked, caption text will still be shown as a tool-tip in browsers that support this functionality. Uncheck the option if you want to display the icon only (without the caption).

Align

This controls the alignment of the icon and caption within the web part zone.

Personal Settings

These will need to be set for each user. With the user logged in, browse to the page and either edit the page or use the Web Part menu to edit the web part. You will see a configuration form that contains only those settings that can be personalized.
