Installation Procedure - Other OS

Note: The following installation procedure should be followed if you are using an operating system other than Windows such as: Mac OS X (and earlier), Linux (Firefox/Mozilla), or Solaris (Firefox/Mozilla).

 

The PerfectForms™ Offline Form Manager is an Adobe AIR application. The Adobe AIR runtime library must first be installed to your computer before running the installation of Offline Form Manager. To install Adobe AIR you can go to http://get.adobe.com/air/. Once that step is complete, you will be ready to run the PerfectForms™ Offline Form Manager installer.

1.The initial screen of the installer allows you to choose whether to continue and install or cancel the installation.

2.The next screen allows you to specify preferences including:
•Starting the application after the installation is complete.
•Choosing the location for where the application will be installed.

Once installed, the Offline Form Manager will behave like any other desktop application. It can be launched from a shortcut in the Start menu or from a shortcut on your desktop.

 

Note: The installer does not automatically pre-load forms into the application. Forms are added during the initial configuration process. For more information on this see Configuration and Security.
