Before you can begin creating new form instances, the form design must be downloaded from the PerfectForms™ system server to the Offline Form Manager. To do this you must be online. The initial configuration process gave you the opportunity to choose the forms you wanted to view offline (see the Configuration and Security section). If you did not select your forms at that time or if you wish to add more you can access the Add / Update Forms screen.

The form selection area displays the list of forms that have been successfully downloaded. For the selected form, you can view the following information:

 

Form name
Date the form was created
Date the form was last updated
Number of associated instances to be submitted

 

Actions that can be taken on a selected form include:

 

New Instance - Click the New Instance... button to create a new form instance in a separate system window.
Remove - Click the Remove button to remove the form from the Offline Form Manager. (This action will not delete the form from the server.)

The form instances area is the tabbed area on the bottom half of the application. Selecting a form from the list at the top of the screen will update what is seen in the form instances area below. Here you can browse the list of associated instances you have created offline. The Saved tab is the default tab that displays on initial entry to the application.
