Creating Your Project

Now that you have a form ready and you know the Web service address for the test form, you can create a test project with Visual Studio 2008.

1.Start Visual Studio 2008 and create a new windows application project by clicking the menu File > New > Project and selecting Windows Application as the application template.
2.Make sure you are using the .NetFramework 2.0 and name your new project 'PF_API' and click OK. The project is automatically created by Visual Studio.
3.Select the project in the Solution Explorer, right-click on it and select Add Reference.

Note: If the Solution Explorer is not visible you can activate it using the menu View > Solution Explorer.


4.In the .NET tab double-click System.Web.Services version 2.0.0.0 (the same version as the .Net framework).

5.Now select the project again in the Solution Explorer, right-click on it and select Add Service Reference (just below Add Reference).
6.In the Add Service Reference dialog specify the PerfectForms™ API Web service address (http://app.perfectforms.com/api/api.asmx?wsdl) and click Go.

7.Once the Web service is resolved, name the Web reference 'PerfectForms' and click Add Reference.

8.After completing these steps your Solution Explorer should look as follows:
