Creating Your Project

Now that you have a form ready and you know the Web service address for the test form, you can create a test project with Visual Studio 2008.

1.	Start Visual Studio 2008 and create a new windows application project by clicking the menu File > New > Project and selecting Windows Application as the application template.

2.	Make sure you are using the .NetFramework 2.0 and name your new project 'PF_API' and click OK. The project is automatically created by Visual Studio.

3.	Select the project in the Solution Explorer, right-click on it and select Add Reference.

Note: If the Solution Explorer is not visible you can activate it using the menu View > Solution Explorer.

4.	In the .NET tab double-click System.Web.Services version 2.0.0.0 (the same version as the .Net framework).

5.	Now select the project again in the Solution Explorer, right-click on it and select Add Service Reference (just below Add Reference).

6.	In the Add Service Reference dialog specify the PerfectForms™ API Web service address (http://app.perfectforms.com/api/api.asmx?wsdl) and click Go.

7.	Once the Web service is resolved, name the Web reference 'PerfectForms' and click Add Reference.

8.	After completing these steps your Solution Explorer should look as follows:
