Yes it is still not available. One solution I employed was to show a message with the contents of the field when the field is clicked.

Hello Steph,

I went with a slightly different approach. I made a "sub-form" (3 hidden pages on the main form)

and with a copy fields behavior pulled the data into this compact rendering of the survey and

used a work flow to a next stage called reporting and set the form to open to the sub-form

(i.e page 15) when the form opens when the stage is reporting and sent a email out with a

notification behavior to the consultant with a link to the form, now when the consultant clicks

on the link they will only see the "sub-form".

Hope this helps.

I have a Survey form(1) and a lookup Table form(2) that I want to use to auto populate form's(1)census data when a email address on form(1) matches a email address in form(2)(form(2)has only unique entries). To this end I made a connect and search command this works but I need to suppress the popup window and just go directly to populating form(1) fields with the returned data.
Is this possible I have looked for a way to do this but can not find how.

Thats fine, but now you must have a trigger on form1 in the text field: when "Stage name" changes field data(<- behavior) and = Closed out (<-text) then 'set next stage' is closed stage.

Lets recap:
If textbox on form1 = "Closed out" then 'set next stage' dropdown to closed stage.

I have a table in P.F that trough a connection gathers information on finished and submitted surveys, then I need to send values back to the forms depending on this data.
To this end each row of the table has a button with "set field in other instance" behaviors beneath it.
Is there a way to run the button "is clicked behavior" for the entire column through a single button at the bottom of the table.
I have tried but can find no way to execute the table buttons programmatically.

If your forms go to a closed stage immediately after the first submission (which some of mine did) you will need to handle it with something like this. This was a solution given to me by one of the pf techs.

This will require one "hidden helper" text input field (txtFormSubmitted) to work correctly, with a default value of 0. In the form is opened event, at the beginning, you will add a simple branch that checks if txtFormSubmitted is equal to 1. If that is false, than just connect that to the normal behaviors you would want to run when the form is opened. If that is true than connect the branch to a run behavior command. This run behavior command should be set to run the behavior of your submit button.
Next you will need to modify the behavior of your submit button. For this, your submit button must be a regular button with a submit behavior so that you can add these extra behaviors. In your submit button is clicked event you will need a simple branch. That simple branch will check if txtFormSubmitted is equal to 0. If that is false, you will connect it to a set field command that sets txtFormSubmitted = 2. If that is true, you will connect the branch to a set field command that sets txtFormSubmitted = 1. After setting it to 1, you will want a set next stage command and set it to your first (default) stage. After that, add a Submit Data command with "Re-open Same Instance" checked.

So what you will end up with is the form first opens, and txtFormSubmitted will be set to 0, and your normal "form is opened" behaviors will execute. Then when the user submits the form the branch will see that txtFormSubmitted is set to 0 and will then set it to 1, set next stage to the default stage, and submit the form and re-open the instance. You will see the form open after it submits, but it happens very quickly. When the form re-opens, the branch you set up in the form is opened behavior will re-run the submit button is clicked event. This time the branch will see txtFormSubmitted is not equal to zero and will set it to 2. It has to set it to something other than 0 or 1, or the next time you open the form it will not work properly. After you set txtFormSubmitted to 2, you can add a set field to capture your form's instance name.

This will allow you to capture it at the first stage. I hope that makes sense, it's kind of hard to describe. It may sound kind of convoluted, but I've built that into all my forms and it works very well.

Very hard to understand what you are trying to say but if you are trying to pass data from a parent form to the child form, first check that this works as you expect.

It could be that your logic isn't correct if you are referring to a check box object where the users could be selecting one, two, three , four or all five selections and not related to the 'page is opened' event and so then work on the child form in isolation where you initially replace the 'populated from the parent' with a manual action to populate the field you are trying to run the behaviours on and place your behaviour under a button to invoke them. Then run the form in 'debug' mode so you can then see how your behaviours are running.

I have a multi page form, on the first page there are 5 check boxes that run behaviors one may chose from 0 to 5 choices.
I am tiring to make this a child form, were from the parent form one may make there check box selection, on the first page open event of the first page of the child form the check boxes are checked and the behavior are executed.
I thought this would be easy to do as I have made other parent child forms, but I an stuck, I can not get the behaviors to execute properly from the page open event, either they wont execute or they execute twice,
I have tried on click, on show, on change data, I have tried all the combination I can think of, the combination of "on open event" and running behaviors has confounded me.
I would appreciate any ideas you have.

Thanks for the reply, I gather from what you wrote the report has a maximum amount of data it can export, so if I have more rows I will need to eliminate some columns to stay under the maximum.
All my data gos into SPSS,I tried using the csv from the migrate option and this worked very well, I hope I will never have to write another report again.
At some point it seems I will need to get the connection agent as this looks like the best option for exporting data.

Very hard to say. Consider first what else could have changed since the report was last allowing you to 'export' to then read into Excel? if you are using the ondemand version then it is Mid Jan since there was an update so could that be involved here? if not, then it could be that the size of the data you are trying to download is now too large for what your PC can cope with for some reason and you should consider looking at a different method to work with your data. For instance do you need to export ALL the data (assuming that your 182 fields refer to fields on the form collecting data) all the time? Have you looked at how in a report you can filter to show specific sub sets of the data or how you can set up multiple report fields to present the data in different ways and then instead of exporting one huge file, export out the specific information you need in more manageable quantities. And over all this if you use the connection agent module, how you can use an 'insert' action to write the data out directly to a database table as your users submit the data where they are more capable of working with large data sets
