Why do I see the "account" checkbox on a new user, but not under my name?

    You don’t see the “account” checkbox under your role because you already have access to it. Because you are the primary user, you have this access by default. New users doesn’t have this access, so that’s why as the primary user, once you add them, you can then decide if you want that new user to have that access or not.
