   Is it possible to count the number of records in a drop-down? I have count working in a table

   No afraid not, but what is it you are trying to achieve? a drop down is an object that only allows users to select one item from it anyway so not sure where a 'count' comes in. but get back by all means with some more detail and can see what could be done
