I have a report with say 5 data lists. When you add a print button and view the rusulting PDF you get all the data from the data list at the end of the report.
Is there a way of hiding the data list in the report and moving the outputted data to where is should be in the report instead of it being an appendix?
Afraid not. the 'data list' is much like a 'table object' in a form where you could have more data in the object than is visible and so has to be handled in this manner

Are data lists the only way to display text ansers?
data list or data grid really are the ones, the other reporting objects are generally 'charting' objects and so not much use for 'text'
