The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window prompt

    Hi,

    Can you please tell me if there is a way to stop the prompt: "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window? Yes No" from coming up? It happens whenever I click on the close button which is set to close browser window.

    It shows up when running Microsoft IE. It doesn't happen if you use FireFox.

    This is all down to IE browser and how it works. even if you could change your local browser settings not to show this prompt there isn't anything that can be done to override other users local settings.
