Sure. Build a helper form and create a single instance of it. When your subject form is submitted open the helper form instance and add a 1 to a field. Your helper form instance should open, add a 1 to the field, and then close. When the field reaches your number (whatever it is) have it send a notification and clear the field.

If your form will be submitted more than once in its work flow you will have to build a behavior behind the submit button so it only opens your helper form when appropriate to your process.

Note that in this scenario you are accessing the same instance of the helper form each time. We do not recommend this method because the notifications will not be in real time (depending on how often the form is submitted), and your notifications will not contain a link to open the new instances.
