Is there such a beast as a custom format builder in PerfectForms?
I would LOVE to be able to add a custom format that would allow me, for instance, to specify that a Date Input field be formatted as “Sep11” or “11-SEP-12”.
Perhaps a RegEx custom field or something, in addition to the canned presets?
As it is now, I am using text fields as “scratch pads” to hold month names before taking substrings, concatenating, etc…
The format of a date input field can be modified in its properties. It can be changed from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY or MM.DD.YYYY or DD.MM.YYYY. You can also use the Masked Text input object http://www.perfectforms.com/Documentation/manual/html/?fl_mask_text_input_properties_ref.htm to specify the format of a field.
