Is there a way to change the asset of a picture object using the set property command and the Source URL property? I see how I can put a regular URL into that property and it will change the picture correctly, but I would like the picture to change to another asset. I’ve tried using just the asset name, the file name it had before uploading, and nothing has worked yet.

Or is it a better practice to host images and rollover images elsewhere, linking to them with a set property field in the picture is shown, mouse moves over, mouse moves away events?

As you have seen, using this property with a regular URL is how it is used. You cannot do this on form assets

Store your images on your webserver and then you can use the Source URL property
