I currently have a table with these states below:

    Va_ID – Hidden

    MInfo – Default

    MName – Read-Only

    MValue – Normal

    Mn_ID – Hidden

I’ve got a checkbox that is checked if the person wants to view the data and not submit data to the database.

So if the user is in “View Mode” it would set the table state to read-only making none of the table columns editable. Yet even running the behavior from a button, it doesn’t make the column “MValue” read-only at all.

If anyone has any idea of what is going on and why it isn’t working, some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The states on table columns are not dynamic and cannot be changed outside of design mode.

Dennis, do you know if dynamic states on table columns is on the PerfectForms roadmap? That would be helpful to us as well, as would dyanamically generating a drop-down list that is a table column.

I do not anticipate that feature in the next year.
