Is there a way to save image to a database then retrieve the image? I’m making a user account form where you can create a new account and put a picture or avatar on it. and when you view a user record or profile you can see the picture. MS SQL Server 2005 will be the database

There is no way to display a picture in a form by getting it from an external SQL database via a connection. However if you build an application that dynamically publishes those pictures on a web server and have that URL in the database along with the picture, the form can retrieve the URL and set it as a source for the picture object.

Alternatively you could have every possible image already hidden in a form and show or hide them as called for by a behavior.

I have been corrected. If you use a image import object in a form you CAN access the image with a form connection. All you need to do is create a connection to the user account form and then use a connect, or connect and search in the second form to bring in the image.
