    The problem as below:
    1. I create a form, which contains a Text Input control, its max length is set to be 9999.
    2. I publish the form and create a form instance, then fill in the Text Input control with “ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,ssssssssssssssssssss,sssssssssssss,222222222222,ssssssssssssss,4444444444444,6666666666666,22222222222222222222222222222222222222,,uuuuuuuuu,222222222222,333333333333333,55555555555,555555,66666666666666666,”.
    3. Submit the form instance.
    4. Create a Report page and layout a Grid control on the page.
    5. Set report’s datasource, which is from Form instance.
    6. Grid will show form instance.
    7. In the behaviorof “Report is Open” , I add a set filter control to filter that only the Text Input of form instance contains ““, will be shown.
In the “Operator” drop-list of Set filter , I select “WildCard”,
In the “Value” TextBox of Set Filter, I fill in “**”

But it coud not show the form instance in the Grid correctly.

Dear Support, could you tell mewhy, and give me a solution.

I believe it is not working for you because you are using more than one set of *.

    Hello Dennie,
    Thanks for your response.
You said that I use more than one set of *, could you tell me a solution how to implment my requirement that It could check whether the Text Input of Form instance contains the email address:”“?

I need the solution or tell me how to fix it.

    Thanks a lot.

You can have a “search” field (text input) and a search button. When the button is pressed use a Set Filter object. Filter on that Multiline input using a formula:

    * + search field + *

    Dear Dennie.
I don’t know what you said, after I read you response, I think that what you described is the same as my implement.

After I try, if the TextInput contains more than 400 characters, the wildcard function in the Set Filter control always fails.

If you have another a good solution, please share to me, if you could give a demo sample, it will be better.
